Finance Projects Senior Analyst - LHH Europe, CTM & LD
Description
Join our team to drive key finance projects, support decision-making, and enhance efficiency. This role focuses on transformation initiatives, system rollouts, process optimization, and providing critical support to Finance Directors during peak demands.
Reporting Relationship:
- Global Projects and Decision Support Director
- Frequent interactions with the LHH Global FP&A Team, Global Compliance Finance Team and Country Finance Directors and their teams
Location of Position:
- Remote
- Due to working with multiple time zones, ideally be based in Europe where LHH has a presence (Spain, Poland, Netherlands, Belgium, DACH)
- Some overseas travel may be required as the business demands.
Major Responsibilities
- This role will work entirely on projects, ad-hoc analysis for decision making and when needed, provide support for the Finance Directors.
- Support regional and global projects, this may include (but is not inclusive of):
- Assisting in Finance Transformation activities, such as:
- Roll out of new ERP and PSA systems;
- Implementation of the new target operating model, and;
- Review of processes, reporting, models, and systems to automate and standardise to best practice.
- Assist in the project management of internal audits.
- Assist on M&A activities as required e.g., FP&A due diligence.
- Assisting in Finance Transformation activities, such as:
- Be a centralised resource to support the FD’s when, for example if we have an unmanageable peak demand or temporary absences.
- Be a training and development champion, assisting in the roll-out of latest Group requirements and other vertical-led initiatives.
- Be a champion of operational efficiencies.
Required Experience/Characteristics
- Key Competencies:
- Attention to detail with an inquisitive and proactive nature, “can do” attitude and comfortable working autonomously and part of a project team.
- Deadline and action oriented: ability to manage multiple priorities to ensure project timelines are met.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate and escalate issues in a timely manner to ensure projects meet their deadlines.
- Driver of change: forming a perspective and communicating it effectively.
- Strong commercial acumen
- Experience in effectively organizing large data sets and being able to translate and communicate this into meaningful insights.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels.
- Technical expertise:
- Proficiency in creating reporting using business intelligence tools, eg. PowerBI, MicroStrategy, SQL, Python etc, would be an advantage.
- Modelling experience (compensation plans, business cases, etc.)
- Advanced excel skills and a solid understanding of accounting software principles:
- Advanced Microsoft Excel for Windows
- Advanced PowerPoint
- Intermediate Microsoft Word for Windows
- JD Edwards / E1 a plus
- Education
- Qualified accountant or bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting/finance field
- FP&A and commercial finance experience: Budgeting, Forecasting, variance analysis
- Understanding of Career Transition Industry and/or HR Advisory business model a plus
